GENERAL INFORMATION The Global Business, Marketing, Finance, IT, Economics, MIS, and Healthcare Management Research Conference, Los Angeles will be held at The Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, CA. So you can do your travel arrangement accordingly. We plan to have 15 minutes available for each presentation. Each conference room will be equipped with a projector and a screen. So you need to bring your USB Flash Drive. Please prepare your presentation in Power Point and save it in PDF. Files on your USB Flash should be in PDF. KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Dr. David L. Ralph, Pepperdine University, CA
Dr. David L. Ralph is the Founder of Antelope Valley Christian School and served as President & CEO for eighteen years. In addition, he is a tenured faculty member of Pepperdine University. In his 40 years at Pepperdine in addition to teaching marketing, Dr Ralph has an exhaustive record of service to the University as well as the community. Dr. Ralph has served as the Associate Dean of the Graziadio School of Business and Management as well as the Chair of the Marketing, Economics, and Quantitative Methods Department. Dr. Ralph has an extensive consulting record with a variety of companies and is widely published in the field of marketing. He also has widespread pro bono consulting work with nonprofit organizations. He is on the board of directors for the SimulationsPlus which is publicly traded on NASDAQ.

Dr. Igor M. Paramonov, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Canada
Topic: North American Economic Integration and Challenges of Rising Asia and Trading with Europe: The Choice of Reason
Dr. Igor M. Paramonov has over thirty years of research, teaching, and consulting experience in North America and the former USSR. His academic activities have resulted in close to forty publications and numerous presentations covering regional economic integration, foreign direct investment, marketing channels for industrial products, economic geography, and business education. Dr. Paramonov received a grant from the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada to participate in the 1991-1992 Canada-USSR Academic Exchange Program at the University of Western Ontario. In 1996 he was selected by the Fulbright Office in Moscow for a research and faculty development program at the University of Montana in association with the United States Information Agency. Since 1998, Dr. Paramonov has lived and worked in Calgary, Canada. He is a faculty member at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and has also been affiliated with the University of Calgary. His consulting experience involves a variety of projects in the fields of international business, regional economic development, and higher education, dealing with marketing research, feasibility studies, and market entry recommendations for small and medium-size firms and non-for profit organizations in the U.S, Canada, Russia, and Ukraine. Dr. Paramonov teaches traditional courses in management, marketing, and international business as well as custom-made courses such as Business under NAFTA. He has also received awards for teaching excellence including the Mortar Board’s Professor Award from the University of Montana’s Pentralia Chapter.

Dr. Eric Golla, University of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ
Topic: Start-ups and Innovation
Dr. Eric Golla has over 25 years of experience managing, designing, and developing complex software solutions and analytics for the finance, manufacturing, distribution, and software industry. Innovations he led or developed include (1) mass media marketing analytics; (2) a real-time, in-memory, interactive online system; (3) a neural network analytic system for manufacturing and finance; (4) sales incentive, analytics, and reporting system; and (5) lab automation systems. Dr. Golla currently is a Senior Vice President for Bank of America (BAC) managing a marketing/product testing and analytics group that use quantitative and qualitative research methods to identify revenue and cost saving opportunities. Previous responsibilities at Bank of America include managing Merchant Services ($400 million revenue per year) modeling, analytics, sales reporting/incentive group; and managing data warehouse optimization. Prior to Bank of America, Dr. Golla provided business development and sales engineering for an internet startup, started an engineering software consulting company, provided process control software for an engineering start-up company, and was the Chief Technical Officer for a distribution company. Over the years he developed relationships with leaders at Bank of America, Mead Paper, American Express, Packaging Corporation, Hillshire Farms, IBM, Microsoft, ST Microelectronics, Avnet, Motorola, and Hitachi. Dr. Golla’s education includes a Doctorate of Business (DBA) from University of Phoenix, Masters of Business (MBA) from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and Bachelors of Science (BS) – Computer Science from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
